War Rhetoric is a 32 Minute Sound Art composition which takes speeches about war by Politicians, TV an Radio Presenters, Social Commentators and Military Personnel and gradually turns it into a piece of Electronica to emphasise the general public's ability to accept the rhetoric into daily life, without ingesting its meaning.
Directions/Maps/Lost is a collection of ambient tracks I wrote between the ages of 17 and 20 before I really learnt how to edit and produce music.
This was an experiment with a poem using a plug-in called LiveCut. The backing is the vocals of Theresa Elflein, which I had recorded in an entirely session and for a different purpose.
This was an experiment with SuperCollider and its capability of remixing material. The code is pretty basic to more experienced SC users and there are probably easier ways of formatting it. However, I will attach it regardless for reference to how the code relates to the sound.
